Today he has made an addition to this tool set which repacks the spoofed PUP file which you can install on your PS3. I upgraded my app with spoofer_pup_repack.exe. It does everything like spoofer_pup.exe but recreate a new PUP file with spoofed files for install to your PS3. Remember, put your PS3UPDAT.PUP file and put this in command line of Cygwin (you can choose your version and image version):./spoofer_pup_repack.exe 06.4000 99999 It must have the same number of digits ALWAYS, if not it gives you error on your PS3./spoofer_pup_repack.exe 09.4000 12345 --> OK!./spoofer_pup_repack.exe 06.4500 88888 --> OK!./spoofer_pup_repack.exe 09.4000 1234 --> WRONG!./spoofer_pup_repack.exe 5 --> WRONG! When it finished without errors you will see a PUP file named PS3UPDAT_SPOOFED.PUP, simply rename to PS3UPDAT.PUP and install it in your PS3 Enjoy Please if you see bugs or something wrong contact me for fix it.

I have done this PS3 PUP/Dev_Flash File Spoofer v3 Tool (basically is an script that use other tools) long time ago for easily spoof necessary files from a PUP file or your own files of dev_flash. Code:./spoofer_pup.exe 06.4000 99999 When it finish you have your spoofed files in Spoofed folder. Version must have same numbers of characters, otherwise it give you error on PS3. If you do something wrong PS3 will boot up Red Screen, if that occurs re-install CFW from Recovery Menu. File index.dat is really not necessary to extract, it creates a new one with spoofed version.txt (spoofed tools does it auto). I hope this helps anyone.
